Hi Don, My rule of thumb comes from years of experience with OTHER manufacturers, not with Elecraft. Now that I'm part of the K3-Line family, I'm learning my risk-adverse behavior is a bit much. Oh oh ... I hear a voice calling to me "hey, little boy, wanna buy a KAT500".
