Plug the USB cable that is connected to the MicroHam Keyer into the PC.  Be
sure you have installed and run Router defining the necessary port numbers
for all the features in the microKeyer you intend to use.

The big cable that you plugged into the back of the microKeyer with all the
seperate leads you hooked up to the K3 - one of which is the serial
interface (RS232).  Now the communication between the PC and K3 is via the
microKeyer.  Works fine but for one task...FW updates.

Be sure to note in the manual about not trying to do any firmware updates in
this configuration.  You MUST plug the K3 directly into the PC for these
updates.  Believe me, as the manual says, it does NOT work with the
microKeyer in the middle.

All information is pretty clear in the MicroHam manual.
