I'm a cw only op also. Over the years I've had custom made inner ear plugs, a Meyer Aviation Headset, Extreme Isolation headphones, Yamaha headphones, ear-buds of all kinds, ...etc...etc....
Every over-the-ears headset I've ever tried ended up hurting my ears. They are so light, you forget they are on. You don't have to jam them into your ears.
