Rich, that sounds like a good idea, especially if lightning pulses are very stretched out in time. Maybe I should copy the idea. Anyway, all my efforts right now go to the new building and the main panel, so it will be months before I do anything for the current shack, even to move everything to a single circuit and eliminate harmful MOV's, and maybe add a relay like yours.
