Not even close. I've done both and they are categorically different. Mainframes were single highly-reliable, very fast, extremely expensive systems. The cloud is a swarm of unreliable slow systems. My laptop is faster than most of our cloud instances. Systems need a total redesign to run well in a cloud. wunder -- Walter Underwood K6WRU CM87wj ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
