On any given contest weekend, the Non Contester are the ones who really need the"Tight Filters" because some inconsiderate holier than god contester will start calling CQ 1500 hz next to an existing QSO. (14.300) catches HELL during contest weekend. I'm really glad that you are a Contester, but I get the impression from your audacious statementthat if one is not among the coveted contesters then they would not know the need of such sophisticatedgadgetry.

K2AV and I are both contesters (and engineers), and we have independently arrived at the same point. 73, Jim K9YC ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to tnny...@yahoo.com ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:Elecraft@mailman.qth.net This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html Message delivered to arch...@mail-archive.com
