For the record, the error message refers to the KAT500, not the KPA500. The 
issue is caused by a device pulling down the Auxbus because it is powered off. 
You may see it with just about any device that uses this communication bus, 
except the KPA500. 

Quite simply, the KPA can talk on the bus, but not listen. Thus, it avoids the 
issue.
