Well glad it is going to work for you. I bought it and the tuner for mobile work. I did not want to spend a fortune as my mobile time is fairly random, but found that my wonderful KX2 was just not being heard from the car when I tried to put out counties or make contacts. I could hear a lot but was not being heard. Good luck.
