I'm wondering if someone can help with a KAT3 ATU problem on my K3 S/No.01434?
When bypassed, the K3 SWR indication agrees with that on an external SWR meter. This is also so when the KAT3 is replaced with a KANT3 board. When in AUTO mode it goes through its relay rattling sequence for each band, but ends up with a mis-match as indicated by the K3 meter. For example, with a 50 ohm load, in BYPASS the K3 indicates 1.0:1 SWR on all bands as it should. When in AUTO mode the indicated SWR is anything up to 4.4:1. I have tried a different KAT3 with the same results. I have also re-loaded the firmware (version 05.67/2.88/2.88/1.26).
