I don't get it ... forewarned of what?
QRZ.com indicates K7CUU is a quite elderly QRP fan who owns a KX2, according to you the ad says he is ill, and assuming you sent the check to his listed address the most you could logically assume is that his wife doesn't read his emails. Your post seems like a pretty questionable aspersion.
