Thanks very much for your notes, guys. I guess I'll just do it "the hard way" and put up with the extra work. No sense causing myself any extra grief. I'm really looking forward to getting this little baby up & running! I've got an FT-857 and Buddipole, but of course I need to add a big battery and tuner. The whole combo weighs almost 20 pounds!
