Hi Thom:

The K3 offers SEPARATE INPUTS for a PADDLE and another (external) keying device, be it straight key, bug, K1EL WinKey, parallel/serial port keying adapter, whatever you wish to use. There is NO NEED for a menu change since both inputs are directly available on
the back of the K3.

If I missed a post or so, forgive the duplication.

Can any of the folks who have a K3 make some comments about using a straight key and/or bug? Is it menu controlled? Do we need diodes as with the K2?

thanks
