Can you describe this "change" closer.

Get two pieces of plastic pipe about a foot long.
One six inches in diameter.
One three inche in diameter.
Close one eye and look at the mountains in the horizon and you will see a
wide view. 6000 Hz
Put the six inch pipe up to the other eye. You will see a portion of the
horizon - like 1000 Hz.
Put the three inch pipe up to your eye. 500 Hz.
The effect, as Keith says, is very noticeable!
