Mario,
imho there is c) option - ask for replacement, this is out of spec if one is not able to put part for more then 500$ inside without tools/mods.

But only 2 stations reported such problems here, maybe some bad-luck only?

Hi Toby,

We had a change in PCB vendors, and they slightly changed the location on some of the break-off points for the PCB handling frame on the KRX3 board (used during automated soldering etc. ) Fortunately this is not a major issue. The other remaining 'nubs' from the break off part of the pcb still align with the remaining alignment holes on the KRX3 case. The ones that do not are not a problem.

Eric,

I've complained to [EMAIL PROTECTED] about the poor quality of the PCB
cutting as well. Not only do I have the same problem as Toby, but I also
had to trim the LPA board so that it would fit.

For the KRX3, What is your suggested solution -- push in the board by
force, or remove the misaligned "nubs" ?
(I went for a) given I had the board already half in, but the problem I
have is a "hash" when turning the VFO knob, which could be shielding
issues....

Mario
