We had a good turn-out for the SSB net today (1800Z) on 14.316 MHz, even though most signals were down from what they have been in previous weeks. Most stations were S5/6, but there were a few up to S9. There were also some near the noise level, and there was also a lot of QSB. The surprise highlight was ZL1PWD checking in from New Zealand into the back of the net control's quad. Peter was weak but there. We had good discussions about headsets in use or recommended. There was also interest in hearing if anyone new of progress/launch dates for the Elecraft high power amps and pan adapter. We ran about 40 minutes today.
