We had a good turn-out for the SSB net today (1800Z) on 14.316 MHz, and most of the signals were good to net control. However, some stations reporting hearing few others. The skip may be too long for many eastern or midwestern stations to hear each other well. Peter, ZL1PWD, checked in from New Zealand for the second week in a row. Peter was weak but there (into the back of my Quad). We had good discussions about the merits of the second receiver in the K3 and audio quality. We ran about 26 minutes today.
