Thanks for that information.  I have not tried it yet, but if KTune 
works no matter what window has focus, then that is a big "selling point".
I plan to try it through LP-Bridge.

I am not certain this addresses the original question about use of a 
Griffen PowerMate at a remote location, but it certainly does help those 
who have a local K3.  I would imagine that for use in a remote K3 
situation, the PowerMate would have to emulate tuning to the application 
being used for remote operation rather than directly to the K3. (Julian, 
correct me if I am wrong on that assumption.)
