500 Hz is too narrow? For what? 1 kHz too wide? For what? What's in this bandwidth gap? I have both the 500Hz and 1kHz filters in my K3, and they are perfect for their intended purpose. I see no need or potential benefit in creating something that would be somewhere in between the two. I'm puzzled by your conclusion that 750 Hz will provide something special.
