Thanks!
I also found in some version of manual http://eia.udg.edu/~forest/ElectricManual.pdf (p. 231) on SDF file import: "In the ALS simulator, you can also obtain simulation data from an SDF file (with the SDF subcommand of the Import command of the File menu). Once this data has been read, one of three sets of values (Typical, Minimum, or Maximum) must be selected from the Annotate Delay Data (ALS) subcommand of the Simulate command of the Tools menu. " Yet I do NOT see this menu in my Electric 9.0.7 Dmitry, Steven has it moved somewhere!? With the sources pointed out it's not a big deal to code wrapper or even translate C code to Java. Yet I do not have any idea which information from jelib must be used for writing synopsys liberty file or howto create it with ALS/SPICE and validate the generated info to be enougth to import Electric GDS+.lib into Cadence genus/innovus.. .lib format parser may be implemented using https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JavaCC and YACC grammar description from C/C++ sourcses yet On 12/12/18, [email protected] <[email protected]> wrote: > ============================================================================= > Today's topic summary > ============================================================================= > > Group: [email protected] > Url: > > https://groups.google.com/forum/?utm_source=digest&utm_medium=email#!forum/electricvlsi/topics > > > - Question on liberty file generation [1 Update] > http://groups.google.com/group/electricvlsi/t/a4c141b61b5e5838 > > > ============================================================================= > Topic: Question on liberty file generation > Url: http://groups.google.com/group/electricvlsi/t/a4c141b61b5e5838 > ============================================================================= > > ---------- 1 of 1 ---------- > From: Gavin Abo <[email protected]> > Date: Dec 10 11:42PM -0700 > Url: http://groups.google.com/group/electricvlsi/msg/358f7e521ecb6 > > As far as I know, the answer is No, such that Electric currently does > not support Liberty file generation. > > To generate Liberty (.lib) files, I believe you would need a commercial > program like: > > Synopsys SiliconSmart [ > https://www.synopsys.com/implementation-and-signoff/signoff/siliconsmart.html > > , https://www.utdallas.edu/~akshay.sridharan/index_files/Page11523.htm ], > > Silvaco AccuCell [ > https://www.silvaco.com/products/digital_cad/cell_characterization_modeling/accucell_Synopsys_Cadence.html > > ], > > or > > Cadence Liberate AMS [ > https://www.cadence.com/content/cadence-www/global/en_US/home/tools/custom-ic-analog-rf-design/library-characterization/liberate-ams.html > > ]. > > Synopsys should have an open source Liberty C library [ > https://www.synopsys.com/community/interoperability-programs/tap-in.html > , https://www.eetimes.com/document.asp?doc_id=1215872 ]. > > I have seen a Perl wrapper for the Liberty C library [ > https://metacpan.org/pod/Liberty::Parser ], which seems to have a > write_library function for generating liberty files [ > https://metacpan.org/pod/Parse::Liberty ].
