Hmm . . . The package may be installed but do you have evidence that the driver is now being used? Any evidence in 'dmesg' or /var/log/messages ? If the appropriate version 5.03 driver is installed and is functioning, then your next step would be to ask on a QLogic support channel with regards to the management software.
