We are trying to see if we can backport the code from a newer kernel.

    Akemi

Hi Tristan,

Apologies for the slow response!

I've backported the sata_via driver from the latest 5.13.2 kernel for you to try. I've uploaded to our testing repository and the package should be available on our mirrors shortly.

kmod-sata_via-2.6-1.el7_9.elrepo.x86_64.rpm

If you have the elrepo repository set up, you can install with:

yum --enablerepo=elrepo-testing install kmod-sata_via

Once installed, I'd suggest you reboot to test the new module.

Please let us know if this updated driver works any better for you.

Phil
