Personally I'd never use git if I could help it; it's the Perl of DVCSs. Linus may have use cases that require it, but few of the rest of us do. I've been working on ada-mode by exporting to Mercurial and then patching back to monotone (if anyone wants to use mtn on OS X, use the homebrew version (version 1.1) rather than the directly packaged 0.48 version; homebrew installs in /opt/local, well out of the way of anything else). Of course, if some valuable software is hosted on git I'll go with the flow. And yes, github looks like the natural place; the tools for managing forks look good, at least as far as I've tried them. _______________________________________________ Emacs-ada-mode mailing list [email protected] http://host114.hostmonster.com/mailman/listinfo/emacs-ada-mode_stephe-leake.org
