I guess you could re-write the function that wraps your link to temporarily something else that extracts '(find-hyperbolefile "DEMO") and runs it with M-e But once links are displayed as underline hyperlinks, your M-e would need to search into properties to activate the link. (hyperscope-capture-buffer) is my function that sorts buffer into Hyperscope database. Doing M-e on the below, inserts the link on bottom.
