I'm new to this list. I've created an ob-alda.el file for the Alda music
programming language using the template provided in worg. I would like
to add this to org-mode and the documentation said the place to start
was to post on this mailing list.
Thank you for your activity.
I am not a maintainer, so do not consider my response as an

Perhaps you should publish your package at ELPA at first. This option is
mentioned at
<https://orgmode.org/worg/org-contrib/babel/languages/index.html>
Adding new languages to the core is reasonable when they are popular
enough among Org mode users. This policy is necessary to avoid adding
unnecessary burden to the maintainers.
I can not say if the requirement of the dedicated language mode in Emacs
core is still applicable, see
Bastien. Moving some lisp/ob-*.el files to org-contrib - your advice?

While waiting for a decision from the maintainers you may publish your
code or at least to send it to this mailing list so users may try it.
P.S.

please wait at least for one month before bumping a thread.
