With lualatex, \setsansfont{DejaVu Sans Mono} can provide nice results with ~vini, vidi, vinci~ as long as you either don't have listings or you use a completely different font for your listings.
Actually you are not limited to monospace fonts. You can change LaTeX commands through the `org-latex-text-markup-alist' user option.
