You may contribute and improve whatever you wish. Look there are
different forks of Gnome.

I look at it as "transactions" involving exchange.
A donation constitutes a transaction involving an exchange. Unlike
direct purchasing where consumers receive goods or services
immediately, donors give with a broader perspective - considering not
just personal benefit but the welfare of society as a whole. Donations
are contributions made by individuals who prioritize general wellbeing
over immediate self-interest, understanding that their act is intended
to support and uplift communities at large.
When assisting certain students through challenging circumstances, I
am aware that their experiences foster learning not only for them but
also equips them to extend such support to others in the future. This
perspective shifts my focus from an individualistic viewpoint ("me")
towards a society's one ("us").
