However, I guess that Gnome’s course of direction is going to strongly effect GNU/Linux desktop. Particularly, GTK. Also, I don’t know how much of conspiracies around Gnome, GTK and, Fedora is true. What I know is that I don’t like many of the changes and the decisions they are making. > I have tried using new flashy Gnome and it is kind of very nice, but > not as speedy and useful for me as IceWM. It’s at the moment the heaviest DE among all; Heavier than KDE now. It’s now the most limited and restricted one by default too. However, it’s the most /beginner/ friendly desktop environment I ever seen too. >> And no, I wasn't silent. I may like IceWM or FWM even more than Xfce4, which is my current default desktop. However, I don’t need to try a new DE/WM, at the moment; Xfce4 is doing just fine. I’m mostly using Emacs, a terminal emulator, a bunch of CLI programs, a web browser and so on; A get the gist of it. -- English is not my native/mother language. I can read and understand English well, but I have problems expressing my thoughts in it. Please, bear with me. Sincerely, Pyromania.
