Yes, please, assuming that it is smart about knowing what is Markdown and not.

Syntax coloring or some sort of formatting for quote blocks sounds
like a gimme in the same vein but I haven't seen it mentioned. (When
Outlook, Gmail and Apple Mail agree on something, you know there's
consensus.)
