LOL, and look at the reply from cricket (apparently some kind of programmer or manager for Apple Mail), essentially telling Siracusa to take his feature and shove it, and without apparent irony including a wrap-mangled portion of the message he's replying to. http://www.omnigroup.com/mailman/archive/macosx-talk/2003-September/096867.html I think a rewrap feature would be cool, but it's also a good user story for the automation support. E.g., "John, as a meticulous communicator, wants to trigger a custom script that takes the textual content of his message compose window, processes it to re-wrap all of the mangled quoted text, and then replaces it, so that his recipients find his email more pleasant and convenient to read." I know what John *really* wants is for Letters to just do it for him, but I think it would be good to have a bunch of real-world examples of the kinds of things people want to do with scripts and plugins in Letters. Then somebody else will want to convert quoted portions to lolspeak, and somebody will want to run drafts through babelfish and machine translate them to Swahili before sending, and gradually some of the commonalities between the things that people want to do will gradually emerge. _______________________________________________ [email protected] mailing list List help: http://lists.ranchero.com/listinfo.cgi/email-init-ranchero.com
