A contrived screenshot can take down any idea. Source list is too wide, the tabs column is not needed. The content has a lot of padding some of which could be done away for the display of email. In fact the current NNW default style use waytoobig font sizes, leading. But I've heard of people who fiercely dislike NNW's widescreen layout. They are wrong, obviously, and they deserve a box of hockey-puck Apple mouses. But we must let them live. Wherein comes your suggestion: > Also, I just really like seeing the message separated from the source and > list. In my case, I want them separated onto a different monitor (this is > where my compose windows show up, on my left monitor.) That's fine too. Detaching the message view sounds reasonable. But do you know when a message view is the detached preview of the item selected in the list view, and when it's just a standalone message window. (As you'd get from pressing return on a message in Mail) _______________________________________________ [email protected] mailing list List help: http://lists.ranchero.com/listinfo.cgi/email-init-ranchero.com
