This is very true. The horse can roam along with the unshaven yaks. Perhaps
those interested in graphic design for Letters could move the discussion over
to another mail list. Personally, I don't think about things like icons or
web sites until I've got a working, functional application... something
worthy of a beautiful icon.
That being said, in an open source project there's room for lots of carts,
and lots of horses. In keeping with the metaphor, perhaps what we really
need is a better system of roads.
We've got two email lists right now, and they seem saturated. How about
adding two more? letters-gui, and letters-graphics?
Also, I'm imagining that some of the excitement about this project will wear
off after a couple more weeks, leaving a dedicated team with a more
concrete vision of what Letters is going to be. Which will make everything
else fall into place.
