Hi,
I've been thinking about this icon design, and was thinking instead
of focussing on the letters themselves, such as stamps or envelopes or
mail boxes, what about focussing more on the delivery vehicles. Then I
thought an aeroplane of some kind, if it can me made to look like a
courier plane rather than a passenger plane. I then did some various
searches for airmail and aeroplane, and came across the world's first
airmail stamp.

Perhaps a plane icon depicting the same old style plane (not depicting
the stamp) might be interesting. Although it might need some way to
link the concept with letters or mail delivery, I'm not sure how.
Then I came across another image of a paper aeroplane stamp, which I
think might work. (Again, taking the concept of the plane, not the
stamp it happens to be on.)

If it looked like a letter folded up into a simple paper aeroplane.
Maybe it could have something written on the paper, or maybe an envelope
or pen in the backgrond behind it, or something to give it a little colour.
