Not that I'm complaining, but some of them come through with an HTML version when he uses fancy quoting.
I prefer plain text, but don't really mind HTML coming in. As long as I can send plain text out. My only real beef with HTML mail is when it gets quoted multiple times, it can start to get pretty mangled. Also, for most email usage, which has zero formatting, it's just extra bandwidth taken up. Bold is nice but *bold* works just as good 95% of the time. Even BOLD works haha.
