Use any FTP application.

To download, simply log into ftp.mythtech.net, and go to the Emailer
directory. Download files via whatever method your FTP application uses
(most decent ones will just let you drag the file to your computer...
Fetch also offers a "Get File" button that will download the currently
hilited file).

To upload, simply log into ftp.mythtech.net and use the username of
"public" with no password (that is, leave the password field blank). Then
go to the Emailer directory, and upload using whatever method your FTP
application uses (most good ones will just let you drag a file to the FTP
window... Fetch also offers a "Put File" button that will open a standard
Open/Save dialog asking you to select a file to upload)

Please only use the FTP space for curtious trading of Emailer related
stuff. Abuse of the site will cause me to remove it. (Abuse of the site
is what caused me to have to require a username to upload)

>(2) I have 3 email accounts that I use Emailer for. I somehow learned

Just set the SMTP server to your ISPs outgoing mail server. Don't waste
your time trying to use mac.com's server for outbound mail... there is no
reason to do it, just use your ISPs mail server.

>(3) My default account, from which I mostly send (NOT the account I sent

You can't set it up to send on the first try. It rejects it because the
server requires you to authenticate first. When you check your email, you
authenticate. Then you have a limited amount of time in which it will
allow you to send.

You can use some applescripts to cause emailer to always check email
before sending email... but since you don't seem to have a problem
sending with your ISPs mail server... why go thru hoops... make you life
easy, and just use your ISPs mail server for all your outbound email.
There is NO difference to the internet world whose mail server your email
comes from. It won't make any difference to the reply address of the
email, and the only people that will even know you used a different mail
server will be those that are examining the mail headers... and if
someone is that type of person, they will understand already that it
makes no difference what server you use, so they won't care.

In other words... make your life easy... just use your ISPs mail server
for ALL outgoing email.
