True, sorry, there are some valid reasons for using a SMTP server other than your ISPs... BUT, the particular instance I was replying to, they indicated that they could use their ISP server with no problems... so given a properly working ISP server, you should not bother to go thru the heartache of trying to use a different mail server like mac.com. Basically, I was trying to stear the person into making their life MUCH easier. Some people get it in their head that they must send via the same mail server they receive... and that just isn't true.
