I had been using Em@iler 1.1v3 on my creaky old hybrid 165/180 PowerBook, out of pure laziness. Yesterday, half-way through downloading 30+ messages from the first account visited it hung and I had to do a restart. After that trying to start Em@iler resulted in "Application 'Unknown' quit due to a Type 1 (or Type 2) error" messages. So I transferred my 2.0v3 installer over and did the install. Seemed to go fine, but when the new Browser window opened I had a folder marked "Unknown" at the top (above "In Box") and all the recovered incoming emails (except one) were there.
After reading and either deleting or filing the emails I've spent 30 minutes attempting to get rid of the "Unknown" folder, with no success. I thought highlighting it and choosing "Delete" from the "Folder" menu would do the trick, but not so. I don't see any "Unknown" folder in the Em@iler folder or any of the included folders... Can anybody tell me how to get rid of this pesky "folder from hell"? -- Selah!
