Hello, all. Even after reading FAQs and the Fog City site offerings, I have two questions I hoped someone might field.
1. In many cases, when Emailer 2.0v3 brings in mail from my America Online account, it adds (or makes visible) a stray character at the beginning of each line. The character is a little square box, which makes replies tedious. The box appears in original e-mails as well as others' replies, but it isn't consistent; it may show up only in 60 percent of the emails I get. On the other hand, the box appears in EVERY e-mail from some individuals and companies. I've tentatively tested some of the Apple scripts available for Emailer, but they tend to strip out ALL the carriage returns and cut off the end of the e-mail messages. Any suggestions? I've been using an AppleScript called Text - Line Feed Stripper#1 to remove annoying but constant stray characters in e-mail. Lately, I've been getting "stack overflow" errors even with only two lines of text selected. 2. I'm also looking for a seamless HTML reader to handle that sort of e-mail. I used the "Show HTML" Applescript for a while, but it was written for use with Netscape. Any scripts out there that work with Explorer? Thanks, Tim Elliott ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
