Emailer is supposed to always open the new email window at the top left of the screen with the menu bar. I actually have never been successful in getting it to change that behavior (which I find mildly annoying, as I have a dual monitor setup, and I keep my emails and IMs on the 2nd monitor, but Emailer always opens a new email on the main monitor). If you aren't getting the "correct" behavior... its possible that the window prefs are damaged. Try removing the Emailer Prefs file from the Claris folder in your System folder.
