Ok, for those that said they do not have the unpacking problem (which as of right now is everyone that answered... but I know there are some of you WITH the problem, so speak up).
Did you install OS X.2 first, or OS 9.2.x? When you installed X.2, did you do it as a totally virgin install? (ie: you reformatted the drive, and started everything from scratch), or did you just install it on top of existing data (either OS 9 or a previous OS X install). Do you have OS 9 on a different partition, and if so, do you have your Emailer files on the same partition as OS 9 or on the OS X partition? Is there anything else unusual about your setup? or are you running this on a stock OS X.2 compatible machine? (ie: are you running on an old unsupported either 604 or Original G3 powerbook, or have you done any major upgrades to the stock setup, such as replacing hard drives, video cards, whatever). I'm just trying to get a feel for the overall setup of those that it works for (and eventually, of those that it does NOT work for...
