Hey Chris I'm the one who posted on this on Jag release day. :-) Extensions matter very little from the testing I've done, although I haven't tried every possibility. OS X 10.2.1, did it under 10.2 as well. Only ever used 9.2.2 as classic. Emailer 2.0v3. I use emailer to check 5 accounts, 3 aol and 3 pop. My 2 .mac accounts get mail rarely, my other pop account is only a little more. The lightest of my aol accounts is probably in the neighborhood of 5-10 messages, the other 2 are more, say 30-50. I have noticed that it isn't exactly account specific. That is to say, it doesn't just leave the most recent account unpacked, it leaves some messages sometimes from the account 1 check back. Example: Launch emailer and let it run. It downloads mail from pop#1 - no msgs, aol#1: 10 msgs, aol#2 40 msgs - unpacks 10 from #1, aol#3 50 msgs - unpacks some large number, pop#2 - no msgs, pop#3 - no msgs. Finishes activity. I quit and relaunch Emailer, there are some message unpacked from aol#2. So it isn't just waiting 1 step to unpack, it's leaving some messages untouched for some reason, even through two account checks. All messages eventually unpack on the restart. so weird :-( As a probably unrelated thing, my toolbar occasionally gets hidden between restarts of Emailer. It works it just acts as if I closed it.
