The thing people don't realize with OS X is you really don't need to know UNIX to use it. You can happily use OS X and be blissfully unaware of the unix underneath. My wife has been doing so for some time now. The most technical thing she knows how to do is force quit an application when the rainbow beachball doesn't go away. The terminal line above is a scarey thing for people who don't want to use or know unix... but then, most of those people aren't bothering to know about or use stream watching tools either. Chances are, if you have a need for the terminal, then you aren't the type of person that is scared off by using the terminal. -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
