Hey Chris,

Thanks for the explanation! I just had Sherlock do a search and turned up 
=2= copies of QuickHelp -- one the v.4.0 I dragged out of the 
Emailer/Claris folder onto the desktop (I'm using a G4/766 mhz under 
9.2.2) and a v.4.1.0 in my Adobe PhotoShop 4.0 LE folder. I stuffed the 
4.0 version, trashed the original, emptied the trash, and selected help 
from the Em@iler menu bar... and it worked just fine! Went to the Apple 
menu->about QuickHelp and discovered that it was using 4.1.0. So that 
seems to be the solution... at least for me.
