Hi there: I recently noticed that I could no longer access Emailer Help - an alert informed me that "the files could not be found" so, instead of looking for them, for some reason I decided to do a complete reinstall of 2.0v3 .
I backed up the database and addresses and then transferred most of the contents of the old Claris Files folder into the new, quit and restarted the program. The mail database reappeared perfectly and my preferences remained intact . There are Help files in the System folder now, which opened the first time I clicked on the new App icon but which are for some reason now inaccessible for the same reason stated previously - files cannot be found. However, there was only 1 adddress in my address book and when I tried to import from either my back up disc or an .Idif back up file I have in a desktop folder, _I still only get a total of 3_. Did I back them up incorrectly? And where did this information in my old Claris folder go? Also, I have lost all my signatures and mail actions despite "transferring them over". I tried rebooting but that just made me have to reset all my preferences because I had moved the file into the Claris folder from the System folder as someone had once advised - apparently a mistake! Cannot now find the font I used to like. I have not thrown anything out - everything is readily available on my desktop. Help me access my addresses, actions and signatures and help pages, please!
