Hi Dave, There's nothing in the installer that should be failing on OS 9.X as the installer only installs items into the Claris folder and the application folder.
I am the engineer that designed and built the 2.0v3 installer, so believe me when I tell you this... ;) I am, however, not the engineer that did the updater. The updater was actually produced *after* Claris was disbanded (and I was layed off.)
