Accessing my mail on At&T WorldNet via CE & dialup works fine (so apparently my settings in CE for At&t WorldNet via dialup are correct).
Cable connection working fine for IE etc. (via settings in TCP/IP) - so apparently my cable connection settings are correct. But when I try to access my mail via CE & cable the Connection Window says "Checking email account" and just sits there, so obviously no connection. No error msg - no authentication problem, Nothing. I've tried checking "Use PPP" in CE's Setup>Prefs. No help. PB1400c - OS 8.5.1 - Ethernet card. Again, CE is working fine w/dialup - cable is working fine with everything but CE. Ideas?
