Right, CE is not SSL compatible >Apparently that's not a problem w/dialup - and that would explain why CE >works w/At&t WorldNet using dialup, but not via cable. Makes sense, when on DialUp, you are already on their network, so there isn't a need to encrypt the email (not that I really see the need to force people to do it when NOT on their network, but whatever) >Would use of Baton Mail cure the problem created by the fact that CE is >not a SSL Client? As of right now, no. Two problems with using Baton Mail. 1: Baton Mail doesn't yet support SSL, 2: Baton Mail currently only handles outbound email and you need inbound support. >Any other ideas? Um... dump AT&T? Complain to them that it is stupid to require people to use SSL (offer it as an option for those that want it, fine, but REQUIRE... stupid!). Or change to an email client that supports SSL for POP. -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
