If you've tried them all then it looks like its a no go with Emailer (you are correct Option characters are very unlikely to work). >I didn't realize that there were hosts that we couldn't hack CE to still >work with? Its really an issue with how the provider handles the multiple accounts. Many of them are going to the full email address as the username. This is just so it is easier to maintain on the server. This also isn't normally a problem, because most all email clients out there have seperate fields for username and pop server. Emailer unfortunatly combines the two into one field and uses the @ as the marker to break them up. This means you can't have the @ sign in the username or Emailer will get confused. SOME mail servers will allow you to use an alternate character. I would contact the provider, explain that your mail client can't issue an @ in the username, and ask if they have an alternate character that will work, and if not, do they have another way of using the service. Be sure to tell them that this is a make or break deal, either they can give you a way to use it, or you will find another provider. Even if you decide to change email clients instead, if you let them know you are prepared to leave them over the issue, you are likely to get a more seriously thought about answer. -chris <http://www.mythtech.net> ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe send a mail message with a SUBJECT line of "unsubscribe" to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
