If it turns out that their email server is only compatible with a few 
email clients, I think you'll find it a lot easier & cheaper to switch 
email providers than to switch email programs for everybody. People get 
really into their email, and not only will they strongly resent a switch, 
but they will complain for months that some bit of work didn't get done 
because it was in the old email prog, and they forgot about it. 

Anyway, it's not such a big deal to switch email providers. 

Set up a new account in Emailer for the new service, so a few days later 
everyone can check the old email server for mail just one more time in 
case any slipped through during the transition.
