List members may know that the system update to OS 10.2.8 had to be pulled by Apple due to various problems. A patched version has just appeared on Software Update but there are still problems with it, including some in Classic that to a small extent affect Emailer. My feeling is that it is worth holding off the upgrade for another couple of weeks pending further patching. Of course Panther, OS10.3, is only a fortnight or so away, albeit as a paid upgrade for which one can place an order at the online Apple Store or with dealers.
