I dont appear to be running anything apart from standard Apple extensions, but maybe it is one of those. Odd, though there was no problem with any previous version of OSX Classic let alone in OS9. I am pretty sure it is OS10.2.8 that is the cause as similar highlighting problems are surfacing in other apps running under Classic. Am I alone in this? Or have others treated 10.2.8 with the caution I would counsel?
